Even with those updated drivers, I'm still having recurring dropout/resync issues on my USB-C to DisplayPort monitor when the Killer WiFi adapter is enabled - just not as frequent as they I assume that's by design so they stay well connected… but it does feel odd the first time. I don't have a HDMI/USBC adapter and I dropped using HDMI at all b/c it doesn't support the resolution of my monitor (and wouldn't support 4k).
