I installed intel graphic drivers, tried various kernels. Is it necessary to do something to switch over to libinput as the driver? So your Dell XPS 13's audio is being finicky. However, I did notice the glitches on the monitor I use at work, so it may be a different situation.
This is a fairly recent laptop (end of June). - Scaling is somewhat improved. This could kick your XPS 13 in the butt and get the audio working again. I also have the XPS 13 9343 but with Ubuntu Gnome 16.04 and have no problems until now. This issues persists even after disabling/enabling the device and reinstalling all drivers.

I tried all the options out there but neither solved the issue for real 😢 On Windows, I don't recall having this sort of problem.
