Sorry, there was a problem flagging this post. so we switched the docking station twice and switched out all the cables going from and to the docking station. I tried a different battery, tried uninstalling the battery and re-installing it, and also tried an elaborate succession of unplugging the AC cord, and battery and plugging both back in in Dell Inspiron 1750 Windows 7.
We are no more used to easy solutions ... Some are easy to fix yourself with a software tweak or a new battery, but some problems may require a visit to a repair shop or even a full-blown system replacement.
