Even when idle (I left the computer on and went to sleep to several hours), it did not freeze.

Cheap mb and oc'ing is just a real pain.  When oc'ing you  get what you pay for..go budget an you may just end up living in hell.--Anna-- In general, that's true. Although I also agree with Elann, Asrock does have some pretty sweet overclocking features, even on their budget boards. I've used stock voltage, 1.25, 1.265, 1.28, 1.30.
