Is there anyway I can detect which file(s) is/are corrupted? You can then check that IDTNC64.CPL is no longer present in C:\windows\system32. After re-imaging and letting him have the machine back it started happening again. Try running a chkdsk on the drive and see if the errors go away. There is no sign that Microsoft will fix this one.
